Work Responsibilities –
Revenue Recognition and Analysis
·       Review and approve Department’s service orders (with oversight)
·       Calculate and track monthly revenues based on active contracts and client billings
·       Review monthly fee and expense details – pull back up as needed and ensure proper coding of expenses
Pricing/ Contracts
·       Setting up contract request as per contract to facilitate billing.
·       Partner with Project Manager to prepare client budgets in line with statements of work
·       Proficiency in project profitability drivers
Reporting & Analysis
·       Assist with actual revenue reporting on monthly/ quarterly basis
·       Maintain monthly results reports at client level
·       Monthly forecast headcount reconciliation with last Forecast and Budget
·       Review staff utilization, realization, and capacity and proactively communicate meaningful observations to management.
·       Prepare and/or review staff utilization reports and flag issues for management
·       Run financial queries upon staff request
·       Provide time and expense details to PM’s as incurred on project(s)
·       Review missing time reports weekly and follow up with delinquencies
·       Support with ad hoc reports for budget, forecast, revenue and other initiatives
·       Work on pushing for clearance of unpriced, aged CD and WIP to comply with revenue policy
General Management
·       Ensure department compliance with company financial policies
·       Serve as an integral part of the financial management team
·       Participate in development and implementation of various initiatives, policies and procedures relating to the overall area of client finance.
Team interactions
·       Communicate seamlessly across locations within finance as well as business team
·       Design and engage in team building activities
·       Take responsibility for personal growth and development using available resources
Basic Qualifications –
·       Graduate/ Post Graduation degree in Finance/Accounts
·       3+ years of FIN or ACC experience.
·       Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Skills –
·       Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
·       Client service oriented and fosters positive working relationships
·       Well organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail, follows through on multiple projects and juggle conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment
·       Strong financial analysis and management skills; good business acumen
·       Work in a matrix structure
·       Ability to take initiative and a self-starter
