Responsibilities:
- Cash Processing and Funds Transfer – M1Serves as a team lead by coordinating the work of less experienced Cash Processing and Funds Transfer staff.
- Processes client payments and accruals. Develops, reviews, and maintains departmental procedures while ensuring adherence to established policies and workflow.
- Understands and effectively uses systems and technology required for cash movement, reconciliation, and trust accounting.
- Identifies opportunities to improve quality and streamline processing and transfers within unit. Coordinates testing to ensure that changes are implemented. Gathers and analyzes data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent. Looks beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and standing up to the complex scenarios.
- Attention to detail in verifying/authorizing trade/cash instructions.
- Leads support staff in day-to-day activities. Acts a Team Lead for support staff and provides team with guidance on activities, coordinates tasks for the team and checks on work quality and progress.
- Responsible for the quality and completion of own work and work of team members.
- High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Should understand Custody & Institutional accounts.
- Should be skilled in using defined or documented processes to collect and define requirements from businesses or functional areas.
- Works with Development, SMEs and business to seed and setup the test environments.
- Recommends program improvements or corrections.
- Helps with getting down to the Root Cause of the issues and works with the Engineering Teams to resolve and validate the fixes.
- Should be good in analytical and logical reasoning.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2+ years of total work experience.
- Experience in financial services preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
