Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of 5-6 audit professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental objectives.
- Planned, coordinated, and executed audit engagements in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, identify areas of risk, and develop appropriate audit strategies to mitigate potential issues.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting principles, and internal policies throughout the audit process.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and delivering audit findings with clarity and professionalism.
- Review audit documentation and work papers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to professional standards.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge base.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to support organizational goals and initiatives.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 of experience in auditing, with proven leadership capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, GST, Income Tax, and accounting principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality audit services and fostering client relationships.
