Position Overview
Citi is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join the Controllers Organization. The role supports the accurate preparation, reconciliation, analysis, and submission of financial and regulatory reports to both U.S. and local regulatory bodies. The position offers high organizational visibility and opportunities to collaborate with multiple teams including Risk, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Enterprise Technology.
This position also includes responsibilities aligned with GENESIS Anchoring Reporting, involving general ledger integrity, balance sheet substantiation, and operational control enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Reporting Duties

Assist in the production and review of U.S. regulatory filings (e.g., FR Y-9C, FR Y-14, Call Reports, FFIEC 009, FR Y-15).

Monitor and manage key reporting metrics to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Support the implementation of regulatory changes and new reporting requirements.

Collaborate with Risk & Controls to strengthen internal governance and controls.
GENESIS Anchoring Reporting Duties

Perform reconciliation, research, and analysis across various Citigroup products.

Support the financial close process, including preparing journal entries and consolidating financial results under US GAAP.

Ensure adjustments are accurate, well-documented, and posted on time as per global directives.

Independently identify and report risks to Citi’s financial statements, including balance sheet and P&L integrity.

Participate in Account Review Forums (ARFs) with the Global Balance Sheet Control Group to reduce risk exposures.
Qualifications

Experience:
-
0–2+ years in financial services, accounting, or regulatory reporting.

Prior experience in reconciliation, financial analysis, or accounting preferred.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Analytical and technical problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and financial control standards.

Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with U.S. regulatory reports and US GAAP.

Working knowledge of reconciliation and financial systems a plus.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
