Banking Advisory Associate

Position Overview

Accenture is seeking a Banking Advisory Associate with experience in the banking domain, specifically in Commercial Credit Underwriting. In this role, you will be part of our Corporate/Wholesale Banking team, helping clients process trade finance transactions, ensure compliance, and safeguard financial institutions against risk. This position offers exposure to credit assessment, risk analysis, and decision-making support in a dynamic financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed research on the financial history of businesses to determine creditworthiness.

• Assess loan, borrower, and industry risk parameters, including financial performance and repayment capacity.

• Provide recommendations on approving, declining, or counter-offering business loans.

• Support trade finance transaction processes with superior service delivery while mitigating associated risks.

• Solve routine banking and credit-related problems using established guidelines.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors, receiving detailed instructions for new tasks and moderate guidance for daily activities.

• Contribute as an individual team member within a defined scope of work.

• Adapt to working in rotational shifts as required.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com).

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in the banking domain.

• Strong understanding of commercial credit underwriting and risk assessment.

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

• Ability to work within structured guidelines and deliver accurate results.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
