Senior Account Specialist

Position Overview

EY is seeking a Senior Account Specialist to join its CAM (Country Accounting Manager) support team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring statutory compliance and financial integrity through accurate reporting, analysis, and control. The position involves collaboration with multiple teams and stakeholders, supporting financial reporting, audits, and continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet variances, providing insights and commentary.

• Prepare and deliver routine and ad hoc reports, reconciliations, and financial statements.

• Manage large datasets for accurate financial analysis and decision-making.

• Support and engage with internal and external audits.

• Perform intra-group reconciliations to ensure data accuracy across entities.

• Partner with the General Ledger team to ensure correct transaction processing and timely reporting.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and accounting policies.

• Assess and improve accounting controls and processes to enhance efficiency.

• Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling.

• Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills.

• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret large data sets.

Preferred:

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP.

• Strong communication skills and proactive, motivated approach.
