Position Overview
The Manager – Global Mobility Services role at KPMG Global Services (KGS) is ideal for seasoned professionals with strong expertise in expatriate taxation, global mobility management, and client engagement. In this role, you will lead teams delivering expatriate tax compliance and advisory services to global clients, manage complex assignments, and ensure seamless coordination between client stakeholders and internal teams.
With 8–12 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Big 4 environment, you will oversee client relationships, manage budgets, ensure quality standards, and drive operational excellence. This position demands a proactive leader with exceptional analytical, commercial, and people management skills who can thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities

Manage client expectations and oversee the delivery of services to expatriate assignees of multinational corporate clients.

Lead client calls and communications; proactively identify and communicate out-of-scope services and billing opportunities.

Approve and sign off on cost projections, expatriate-related payroll allowances, split and shadow payrolls, and employer-provided benefit computations.

Review calculations, Statements of Earnings (CSOE), and Certificate of Coverage (CoC) applications for accuracy and compliance.

Prepare billing invoices for engagements and ensure correct identification of out-of-scope services for billing.

Develop and manage annual KGS engagement budgets, including forecasting and resource planning.

Take an active role in recruitment, mentoring, and performance management of team members.

Conduct regular meetings with engagement teams to review project progress, utilization, and client delivery metrics.

Ensure projects are delivered within budget and timelines; escalate issues proactively to leadership.

Oversee quality control processes, analyze client feedback, and implement improvements for operational efficiency.

Conduct employee performance evaluations aligned with KPMG’s values, performance standards, and goals.
Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:

Minimum Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from a reputable university with excellent academic results.
Mandatory Technical & Functional Skills:

8–12 years of relevant experience in Global Mobility Services or expatriate taxation, preferably within a Big 4 firm.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); working knowledge of Alteryx and Gen AI tools is a plus.

Expertise in assignment payroll management, expatriate compensation structures, and global mobility compliance.

Broad exposure to income taxation and understanding of international tax regulations.
