Position Overview
Shebin & Associates is seeking a motivated Audit Assistant to support statutory, tax, and internal audit assignments. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and a willingness to travel for field audits.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audit activities.

Perform data verification, documentation, and vouching of financial records.

Prepare audit working papers and maintain proper audit trail documentation.

Coordinate with clients for data collection and clarification.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Education: B.Com / M.Com
-
Experience: 0–2 years in auditing or accounting roles (Freshers with strong fundamentals may apply)

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and audit processes.
Technical Skills Required

Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel
-
Knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and basic compliance requirements
Additional Requirements
-
Willingness to travel for outstation audits as required.

Good communication and client-handling skills.
