Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant, based in Malappuram. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing accounting operations, preparing financial statements, budgeting, reviewing ledger entries, and conducting financial audits. The role also includes ensuring compliance with financial regulations, reconciling accounts, and supporting decision-making through accurate financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will contribute to process improvements and provide guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications

Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and preparation of financial statements

Experience in general ledger management, account reconciliation, and bookkeeping

Knowledge of accounting software and systems, along with advanced Excel skills

Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax codes, and compliance requirements

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar certification preferred

• 10+ years of relevant experience is strongly preferred
