Job Description:

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts for UAE-based clients using ERP and accounting systems.
  • Review journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
  • Manage accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger maintenance.
  • Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, suppliers, customers, and balance sheet items.
  • Support monthly and quarterly closing activities in line with agreed timelines.
  • Support budget vs. actual analysis and basic MIS reporting.
  • Assist with VAT-related calculations, reconciliations, and documentation related to UAE VAT.
  • Ensure proper documentation and maintain a clear audit trail for all accounting entries.
  • Follow internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure process standardization.
  • Coordinate with the Dubai team for clarifications, reviews, and resolution of issues.
  • Work closely with the onshore Dubai finance team to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Respond to client and internal queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support multiple clients and projects in a shared-services environment.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Good Excel skills including reconciliations, schedules, and basic financial analysis.
  • Well organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
