Accountant

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting: Maintaining accounting records for group companies in the UAE, as well as overseeing the work of outsourced accounting firms in the El Salvador and Panama jurisdictions
• UAE Taxes: Full support of tax accounting (Corporate Tax, VAT, and other obligations)
• Reporting: Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards
• Consolidation: Maintaining consolidated accounting for the group of companies
• Audit and e-Invoicing: Preparing documentation and supporting internal and external audits. Working with e-Invoicing systems in the UAE and El Salvador
• Communication: Liaising with regulators, the FTA, auditors, and external consultants

Requirements

• Experience: 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the UAE, with a proven track record of successfully passing audits and tax inspections
• Software: Proficiency in modern accounting and financial software (Xero, Request Finance, and similar tools)
• Profile: Strong hard skills, with the ability to work within an international structure and oversee external contractors
• Important: This position is not suitable for entry-level specialists. We are looking for a ready-made expert capable of independently handling a complex scope of tasks
