Accountant

Position Overview

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing core financial accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and month-end reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and proficiency in accounting systems such as SAP. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions, supporting the organization’s accounting and compliance objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Process journal entries and ensure proper documentation.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations accurately and on schedule.

• Handle intercompany accounting and reconciliations.

• Manage month-end closing activities and financial reporting.

• Support fixed asset accounting processes, including capitalization and depreciation.

• Assist in inventory accounting and standard costing activities (as required).

• Maintain high standards of data accuracy and integrity in all accounting records.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

Educational & Professional Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCom) or Business Administration (BBA).

• Minimum 2 years of post-graduation experience in accounting or related functions.

• CA Inter-qualified candidates will be preferred.

• Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
