Accounts Associate

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Executive Accounts based in Calicut. The role involves managing end-to-end payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting payroll-related audits. Responsibilities include processing monthly payroll, verifying attendance and payroll inputs, calculating salaries, incentives, and final settlements, reconciling payroll accounts, preparing statutory returns, and handling employee payroll queries. The role also requires close coordination with HR for employee onboarding, exits, salary revisions, and ensuring accurate payroll reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and payroll accounting.
  • Knowledge of payroll compliance, including EPF, ESI, PT, LWF, and TDS.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (Keka preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in payroll reconciliations and statutory compliance is preferred.
