Accounts Manager

Position Overview:

We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Accounts Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in core accounting principles, have hands-on experience with GST, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance matters, and demonstrate strong leadership and analytical capabilities. This role requires managing the overall financial operations while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns
• Handle all statutory compliance matters, including liaison with auditors and tax authorities
• Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and cost control measures
• Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards and company policies
• Review and streamline accounting processes and implement automation where feasible
• Supervise and mentor the accounts team to maintain operational efficiency

Required Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and statutory regulations
• Strong expertise in GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other regulatory filings
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Zoho Books) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Leadership abilities with effective team management and delegation skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification such as CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance roles
• Proven experience in handling statutory compliance, audits, and tax-related matters
• Experience working in a corporate or mid-size company environment preferred
