Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Accounts Receivable Executive to join our finance team. The role involves managing day-to-day accounts receivable operations, including processing incoming payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will ensure revenue is secured, discrepancies are resolved promptly, and outstanding balances are effectively monitored in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and record accounts and incoming payments in compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Record daily financial transactions by verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.

  • Reconcile accounts receivable statements to ensure accurate postings to customer accounts.

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Generate monthly statements and reports detailing the status of accounts receivable, including reasons for outstanding balances.

  • Record and archive all receipts along with supporting instruments (money orders, checks, certified funds, etc.).

  • Follow up with default customers as per company policy and escalate cases to the Legal Department in the event of bad debts.

Requirements & Skills

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Executive, Accounts Receivable Manager, or Accountant.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, fair practices, and collection regulations.

  • Proven ability to post, reconcile, and manage current/outstanding receivables.

  • Accurate data entry skills with high attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets and hands-on experience with accounting software (Yardi, SAP, or other web-based ERP tools).

  • Good proficiency in English with effective communication skills.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Banking, or partial completion of IPCC/CMA.

  • OR

  • Matriculate with 3+ years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Executive.
