Accounts Receivable Executive

Position Overview

As an Accounts Receivable Executive at Freight Tiger, you will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end invoicing and collections cycle. Freight Tiger is India’s largest road freight technology platform, currently powering nearly 4% of the country’s freight movement. With an ambitious goal of scaling this to 20% by 2028 and driving USD 100M in revenue, this role is central to ensuring accurate, timely billing and healthy cash flows while supporting our rapid growth.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate data, issue compliant invoices, manage reconciliations, and resolve customer queries with precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and issue invoices based on live services, contracts, and pricing agreements.

• Ensure accuracy in billing across logistics services (primary, secondary, inbound, outbound).

• Coordinate with operations, sales, and finance to validate shipment data and billing triggers.

• Upload invoices to customer portals and monitor timelines (monthly/quarterly).

• Track unbilled revenue, drive rectifications, and support reconciliations with trip/shipment-level summaries.

• Apply bundled/unbundled categorization, pro-rata adjustments, SLA deductions, penalties, and discounts as required.

• Assist with collections, customer escalations, and audit documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, or Billing (preferably in logistics, SaaS, or B2B services).

• Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho), and invoice portals.

• Knowledge of GST, PAN, credit terms, and revenue recognition practices.

• Strong attention to detail, coordination, and follow-up skills.

• Ability to work under strict deadlines with a process-oriented approach.

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Experience with Salesforce or industry-specific invoicing tools.

• Exposure to contract-to-cash processes and data reconciliation.
