Position Overview

Shebin & Associates is seeking a motivated Audit Assistant to support statutory, tax, and internal audit assignments. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and a willingness to travel for field audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audit activities.

  • Perform data verification, documentation, and vouching of financial records.

  • Prepare audit working papers and maintain proper audit trail documentation.

  • Coordinate with clients for data collection and clarification.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com

  • Experience: 0–2 years in auditing or accounting roles (Freshers with strong fundamentals may apply)

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and audit processes.

Technical Skills Required

  • Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel

  • Knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and basic compliance requirements

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel for outstation audits as required.

  • Good communication and client-handling skills.

  • Positive attitude, learning mindset, and professionalism.
