Positional Overview:
We’re looking for a Finance Consultant to join the group of our Business Consulting Team. This role offers the chance to lead transformative projects and contribute to the growth of our finance consulting domain. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and ambitious professional, eager to be part of our journey at an exciting time of expansion in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Lead/ Be part of a dynamic team of professionals undertaking finance consulting projects and bringing diverse perspectives to every challenges
- Worked in the capacity of Manager in Big 4’s or other consulting firms bringing expertise in finance transformation projects.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive transition roadmap, ensuring seamless role and activity migrations.
- Actively participate in the growth of our Business Consulting practice, establishing yourself as a key point of contact for MENA pursuits and engagements.
- Innovate by contributing to the creation of new services, tools, and materials, enhancing our market presence.
- Embody the right attitude to align with organizational goals, leading strategic initiatives at both GDS and team levels.
- Foster collaboration across competencies to achieve organizational goals as a unified team.
- Drive business development efforts, securing new deals and expanding our client portfolio.
- Monitor and communicate Finance operational results in a timely and effective manner through the monthly performance dashboard – Insight driven (data/analytics) process metrics dashboards
- Introducing new controls and ensuring robust functioning of the process as per ISO and SOX guidelines
Skills:
- You should have experience at one or more of the following technical competencies:
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions as part of consulting practice, including transition planning, people & organization management, processes, location analysis and technology/automation.
- Should have work experience in one or more sectors like Mobility, Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Power & Utilities etc.
- Business and commercially driven mindset, capable of delivering value in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business development acumen, leading pursuits, and contributing to practice development.
- Commitment to continuous learning and skill development to achieve career goals.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, providing influential advice and support.
- Creativity and determination to overcome challenges and deliver impactful results for clients.
- Management of key stakeholder relationships to foster new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of consulting work experience in Finance projects
- CA/ACCA/Master’s degree in MBA Finance.
- Part of Technology implementation projects
- Strong exposure to Digital technologies for Shared Services / Global Business Services
- Experience in the usage of analytical tools/ representations
- Willing to work on Sunday to Thursday working week and support MENA timings (11 AM – 8.30 PM), as preferred (supporting Middle East Clients)
