Your key responsibilities
- Facilitate the implementation and support of Oracle Finance Modules
- Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements
- Design module specific solution in the context of the integrated Oracle financial application
- Requirements gathering and documentation using AIM / OUM or other prescribed methodologies
- Maintenance and enhancements to existing Oracle Financial modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Expense, Tax and Cash Management
- Assist business user during CRPs/SITs/UATs
- Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs.
- Design, customize, configure and testing of finance modules
- Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
- Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve software problems.
- Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues;
- Document functional designs, test cases and results.
- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
- Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects
- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
- Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
- Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members Skills and attributes for success
Skills and attributes for success
- Minimum of 3 to 4+ years of experience in ERP Financials (EBS /Fusion
- Core experience in finance functions
- Should have worked in at least 3 full life cycle implementations with at least one of the implementations on Fusion Financials
- Experience in Oracle EBS functional financial areas
- Experience of having worked in a client facing delivery role
- Experience in any of the major industry sectors like energy, oil & gas, power & utilities
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time
- Experience in a Professional Services or Distribution company is an asset
- Understanding of accounting business processes
- Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective
- Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
- Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a good attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Should have hands on experience and strong knowledge on finance module integration with other modules O2C and P2P and projects
- Must have valid passport with minimum 6 free pages and should be willing to travel on short term and long term for client site work assignments especially to middle east including Saudi Arabia as and when required depends on project requirements.
- Excellent communication, presentation skills and consulting mindset
- Client handling experience.
- Willing to work in MENA Shift timings (Sunday to Thursday).
- A valid passport for travel.
