Financial Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a Team Member – Financial Analyst to support financial accounting, reporting, compliance, and process improvement functions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting processes.

Experience

0–2 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Accounting, or Reporting.

Qualification

• Under Graduate (B.Com/BBA/BAF or similar)

• Postgraduate students or candidates pursuing additional finance-related qualifications will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards for the Paintcraft business.

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end book closures.

• Prepare monthly MIS reports with meaningful insights.

General Ledger Management

• Ensure proper accounting of customer advances, invoice raising, and collections received.

• Handle GST on customer advances and ensure proper adjustments against invoice bookings.

• Oversee account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.

• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger.

Compliance & Audit

• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation, reports, and explanations.

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for automation and optimization in accounting and reporting processes.

• Recommend and support implementation of best practices.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate effectively with Business Teams, Tax, Treasury, and external auditors.

• Provide timely and accurate financial information for management decision-making.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills

• Good understanding of accounting principles and GST concepts

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Ability to work under deadlines with accuracy
