FS-RC-FS-Finance Pubco Reporting

Position Overview

EY is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior – FS-RC-FS-Finance Pubco Reporting professional to join our Finance FS team in Bangalore. In this role, you will support complex accounting, financial reporting, and analysis processes for public companies within the financial services sector. You’ll work closely with managers and senior leaders to ensure compliance, accuracy, and consistency across financial statements and regulatory filings.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Public Company (Pubco) financial reporting under GAAP and other regulatory frameworks.

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, disclosures, and supporting documentation.

• Execute key accounting and reporting functions, including:

  • GL and GAAP accounting entries

  • GAAP and Non-GAAP reconciliations

  • Statutory reporting and consolidation

  • Flux and variance analysis

  • Accruals and P&L review

  • Market / FX sensitivity calculations

• Perform tie-outs, historical comparisons, and balance sheet roll-forwards (including in Workiva).

• Support parent-only balance sheet activities and unfunded commitment schedules.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

• Stay up to date on changes in regulations and reporting requirements impacting public companies.

• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Collaborate closely with Managers and Finance Leadership to enhance financial operations and reporting efficiency.

Skills & Attributes for Success

• Strong understanding of Public Company (Pubco) accounting, reporting, and consolidation.

• Proven experience with GAAP / Non-GAAP accounting and financial systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Familiarity with financial ERPs and reporting platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, FIS Investran, Workday, Power BI).

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with senior stakeholders and global teams.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

Qualifications & Experience

• 6+ years of relevant work experience in Finance, Accounting, or Pubco Reporting.

• Professional qualification: CA, CPA, or CMA (mandatory).

• Hands-on experience with tools such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, FIS Investran, Coupa, Power BI, and Workday.
