Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled AES Oracle – GL & Accounting Hub Specialist to join our Operate team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Financials with strong functional expertise across GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, and related modules. This role is suited for professionals who have contributed to end-to-end implementations, upgrades, migrations, and support projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications with 0.6–2 years of functional experience.

  • Support and participate in at least one end-to-end implementation across Fusion Finance modules.

  • Provide functional expertise in GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Intercompany, Expenses, and Procurement modules.

  • Understand and analyze business requirements; propose appropriate solutions with due diligence.

  • Configure and support Enterprise Structures, COA, Hierarchies, Flexfields, and Extensions in Fusion Financials.

  • Coordinate with Oracle Support to resolve application issues.

  • Perform Unit Testing and support UAT activities; work closely with business users for sign-off.

  • Manage financial data migration using FBDI / ADFDI templates and resolve related issues.

  • Assist in period-end close activities and financial reconciliations between GL and sub-ledger modules.

  • Understand integrations between Finance modules and other areas such as Projects, Procurement/Order Management, and HCM.

  • Provide high-level support for modules like SCM or PPM (added advantage).

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and maintain documentation.

  • Collaborate with the team to close client requests on time and deliver within agreed SLAs.

Key Skills Required

  • Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, FA, Expense Reports, Intercompany)

  • Financial data migration (FBDI / ADFDI)

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Structures, CoA, Flexfields, and Financials setups

  • Testing (Unit Testing, UAT)

  • Issue resolution and Oracle Support coordination

  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
