Junior Accountant

Position Overview

Madison Logic is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support daily financial operations, assist in financial reporting, and help drive improvements in accounting processes. This role offers exposure to global B2B marketing operations and hands-on learning with a dynamic, innovative finance team. Ideal for professionals with strong accounting foundations and ERP experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks: journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting

• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes

• Ensure accurate accounting in compliance with GAAP and internal policies

• Manage vendor records and initiate weekly payments

• Support internal/external audits with documentation and schedules

• Analyze financial data and support budgeting/forecasting

• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and ad hoc reporting

• Participate in process improvements and implementation of accounting updates

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the finance team

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting (corporate or public)

• Strong knowledge of internal controls and accounting processes

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Sage)

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data

• Willingness to work US hours

• On-site presence required for 6 months, followed by hybrid (2-day WFH)
