Junior Accountant

Position Overview:

FOS Advertisers, a leading name in the creative advertising space, is looking for an experienced and reliable Junior Accountant to strengthen our finance operations. This role is ideal for candidates who have previously worked in accounting roles within the advertising, media, or service sectors. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in managing daily financial tasks and ensuring accurate handling of client-related accounts and campaign budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions and update ledgers accurately

• Prepare client invoices, track billing cycles, and ensure timely collections

• Handle accounts payable and receivable with a focus on vendor and media payments

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

• Assist in budgeting and cost tracking for advertising campaigns

• Collaborate with client servicing and creative teams for expense planning

• Maintain organized financial documentation for audits and reviews

• Ensure all financial practices follow company policies and statutory compliance

Skills:

• Prior experience in accounting, especially in the advertising or service industry

• Familiarity with media billing, vendor payment cycles, and project cost tracking

• Strong organizational and analytical skills

• Working knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting tools

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic financial analysis

• Excellent communication and time management skills

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce

• 1–3 years of relevant work experience in an accounting role

• Experience in an advertising agency or similar service-based business is highly preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
