Position Overview:

As our Remote Junior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in managing the financial affairs of our founder/owner and ensuring the financial integrity of Habot Connect DMCC.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the founder/owner’s personal finances, including income, expenses, and tax compliance (India).
  • Conducting internal audits of our Dubai operations, with a focus on process compliance and bank balance reconciliation.
  • Handling day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable and financial statement preparation, using Zoho Books.
  • Evaluate internal controls, assess risks, and recommend improvements

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Zoho Books/Quickbooks is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA) is highly preferred.
  • A maximum of 2 years of experience in accounting and auditing.
  • Proven experience in managing personal finances.
