Positional Overview:

A Junior Accountant provides support to the accounting department by managing daily financial and accounting tasks. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or those early in their accounting careers. The role focuses on assisting with financial record-keeping, data entry, reconciliations, and basic reporting duties under the supervision of senior accounting staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle data entry and maintain financial records.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations.
  • Process invoices and manage accounts payable/receivable.
  • Support budget preparation.
  • Assist with audits and compliance checks.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations. ( GST, TDS- challan creation, EPFO filing, ESI)
  • Support senior accounting staff with various tasks.

Skills:

  • Tools : Zoho Books, Zoho Payroll, MS office

Qualifications:

  • Experience – 6 months to 1 Year

  • Qualification : Bcom/Mcom/MBA
