Package Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Package Consultant – SAP HANA SCM SD (Sales and Distribution) to join our SAP Order-to-Cash (O2C) team. In this role, you will work on implementing and supporting sales order management, pricing, shipping, and billing processes using SAP S/4HANA. You will collaborate with business users across sales, logistics, and finance to ensure efficient customer order processing and revenue recognition. This position offers a great opportunity to develop strong technical and functional skills within SAP and gain exposure to end-to-end O2C processes in a dynamic global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support implementation and rollout of SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) modules, covering:

  • Master Data Management (Customer and Material Masters)

  • Sales Order Processing and Delivery Management

  • Pricing, Discounts, and Tax Configuration

  • Billing and Integration with Financial Accounting (FI)

  • Credit Management and Revenue Accounting

  • Logistics Execution and Integration with MM/PP modules

• Assist in requirement gathering, business process documentation, and system configuration.

• Participate in testing (unit/integration), data migration, and user training activities.

• Support business teams in resolving day-to-day transactional and configuration issues.

• Learn and apply SAP best practices for order-to-cash and sales operations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across modules (FI, MM, PP, CO).

• Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and training material as part of the delivery process.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree (BE/B.Tech in any Engineering discipline) with a strong interest in business processes.

Experience:

• 0–2 years of experience in SAP functional consulting, preferably in Sales and Distribution (SD) or related business domains such as Order Management, Logistics, or Billing.

• Internship or project experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC modules will be an added advantage.

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) or SAP ECC SD modules.

• Familiarity with Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes — from quotation to invoicing.

• Knowledge of sales pricing, shipping, and billing flows.

• Awareness of integration points with FI, MM, and PP modules.

• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting, and data analysis.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Ability to understand business processes and translate them into system solutions.

• Attention to detail and eagerness to learn SAP technologies.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a teamwork-oriented mindset.
