Position Overview
As a Procurement Practice Analyst, you will work closely with associates to manage daily operations delivery. You will be responsible for driving business savings with offshore, onshore, and client teams, ensuring compliance and execution of procurement contracts, and mentoring analytics and operations teams to achieve defined business outcomes.
You will be a key part of the Procurement Management team, responsible for the systematic approach to sourcing goods and services—covering supplier identification, proposal evaluation, negotiation, contracting, delivery, and results analysis.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a supply chain team of associates focused on delivery assurance, exception management, and inventory management.

Oversee material requirements and generate purchase orders.

Schedule and monitor the supply and delivery of materials and products.

Liaise with customers, suppliers, and distributors to ensure smooth procurement operations.

Handle inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.

Address client risks/queries independently and generate reports as required.

Collaborate with managers to align business requirements with system and process solutions.

Conduct root cause and “what-if” analysis in areas such as PO placements, on-time delivery, and inventory planning.

Evaluate operational performance, develop business cases for change, and manage supply chain improvements.

Provide coaching, mentoring, and motivation to associates and analysts, ensuring effective workload allocation and team development.
Skills & Qualifications

B.Com / M.Com / MBA with 3–5 years of experience (preferably in the automotive sector).

Strong knowledge of procurement operations, contract compliance, and execution.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to simplify complex tasks.

Effective leadership skills—capable of guiding, motivating, and mentoring teams.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Proficiency in root cause analysis, performance evaluation, and developing strategies for supply chain efficiency.

Strong client relationship management and ability to address risks independently.
