Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

• Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Cycle:
• Complete mastery of purchasing documents like Purchase Requisitions (PR), Request for Quotations (RFQ), Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipts (GR), and Invoice Verification (IR).
• SAP MM (Materials Management): Deep understanding of Material Master data, Vendor Master/Business Partner configuration, and Inventory Management.
• Pricing Procedures: The ability to configure complex pricing logic, including conditions, freight charges, taxes, and discounts within the PO.
• Release Strategies: Configuring multi-level approval workflows for PRs and POs so organizations can control spending.

Integration & Cross-Module Knowledge

• MM-FI/CO Integration:Understanding how procurement actions hit the general ledger. must know how valuation classes and movement types map to automatic Account Determination (OBYC settings).
• SD/PP/QM Cross-over:Basic understanding of how procurement ties into Sales (for third-party orders), Production Planning (for MRP/materials requirements), and Quality Management (for inspection types during goods receipt).
• Vendor Invoice Management (VIM):Familiarity with tools like OpenText VIM or SAP Ariba, which are heavily used in large enterprises to automate and streamline invoice processing.

Good-to-Have

SAP S/4HANA & Modern Technology

• SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement: Shifting from old ERP habits to the modern S/4HANA data model. You must know how to set up the Business Partner (BP)concept instead of the old vendor master screens.
• SAP Fiori:Understanding role-based apps for managing requisitions and approvals instead of relying solely on backend transaction codes.
• SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP):The ability to build side-by-side extensions and handle API-based integrations to connect SAP with non-SAP systems or third-party e-procurement tools.

Responsibility / Expectations

1 Experience working with Implementation SAP S4

2 Experience working with SAP support projects – ECC

3 Experience understanding business process
