Senior Executive

Positional Overview:

The Senior Executive – Finance & Accounts plays a critical role in managing the financial operations of the organization, particularly overseeing the entire collection and payment mechanism of Chit operations. This role involves ensuring process and statutory compliance, maintaining financial statements, managing receivables, reconciling accounts, and improving operational efficiency. The position also includes MIS management, cost control, and financial reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the collection & payment mechanism of Chit operations, ensuring smooth financial transactions.
• Assist branches and accountants in cash operations, vendor payments (including agent payments), and branch asset maintenance.
• Manage bank accounts, ensuring accurate reconciliations of office and bank accounts.
• Prepare and finalize the Trial Balance, Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, and Balance Sheet.
• Conduct regular reconciliation of office and bank accounts.
• Monitor and track operational expenses to ensure cost control and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and maintain MIS reports to provide accurate and real-time financial data.
• Analyze financial trends and operational costs to assist in decision-making.
• Ensure timely submission of financial reports to senior management.

Skills:

• Strong financial analysis, auditing, and accounting skills.
• Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Expertise in managing Chit Fund operations, cash flow, and receivables.
• Ability to handle bank reconciliations and vendor payments efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple financial tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CA/ICWA/CMA/MBA (Finance) preferred but not mandatory.
• 5+ years of experience in finance and accounts, preferably in Chit Fund operations or financial services.
• Prior experience in handling financial compliance, audits, and MIS reporting.
