Position Overview
Deloitte is seeking a Senior Professional for its Accounting and Reporting Advisory (ARA) team within the Audit & Assurance division. This role offers the opportunity to work with one of the world’s most respected professional services firms, providing clients with exceptional accounting and reporting advisory services while contributing to a culture built on integrity, inclusion, and excellence.
As an ARA Senior, you will participate in client proposals, oversee day-to-day engagement operations, and work closely with teams to address complex accounting, reporting, and operational issues. This is a dynamic opportunity to grow as a trusted advisor while collaborating with top-tier professionals across industries.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality client service and foster lasting client relationships.

Conduct detailed research on complex accounting and reporting issues to develop practical, robust solutions.

Provide advisory support on:

Complex accounting transactions and acquisitions under IFRS.

Financial statements and accounting policy reviews.

IFRS impact assessments and implementation projects.

Support engagement managers in executing account strategies and ensuring smooth project delivery.

Contribute insights on client needs, industry trends, and emerging financial reporting practices.

Assist clients with internal control matters, including design, implementation, testing, and remediation.

Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and colleagues.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in public auditing and accounting, preferably with one of the Big Four firms.

Experience in technical accounting advisory engagements is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of IFRS and exposure to report writing.

Proven leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver under tight deadlines.

Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, or CPA) preferred — CA highly desirable.

Fluency in English is required; bilingual proficiency (Arabic/English) is preferred.
