Position Overview
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in a leading MEP and construction firm. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting strategic decision-making by focusing on project costing, sales performance evaluation, and profitability analysis. Your insights will directly contribute to financial optimization and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Costing & Budget Analysis

Analyze direct and indirect project costs to ensure accurate costing and pricing strategies.

Evaluate cost variances and recommend corrective measures.

Assist in the preparation and monitoring of project and departmental budgets.
Sales & Revenue Analysis

Track sales trends and gross margins by product, customer, and business segment.

Prepare sales performance dashboards and monthly management reports.

Support sales forecasting and planning processes.
Project Financial Analysis

Monitor project financial performance, including cost-to-complete and budget vs. actual analysis.

Conduct post-project profitability reviews.

Collaborate with project teams to align outcomes with financial targets.
Reporting & Insights

Develop financial models to assess investments and cost-saving opportunities.

Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management.

Assist with month-end closing and management reporting activities.
Collaboration & Compliance

Work closely with project managers, procurement, and operations to gather accurate financial data.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit standards, and financial policies.
Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA, CMA, or CPA preferred).

Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis or auditing, ideally in a project-based or construction environment.

Strong knowledge of costing methodologies and financial modeling.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred).

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively.
