Position Overview
Conduent is seeking an experienced Accounting Services Associate II to join our finance operations team. The role focuses on executing day-to-day accounting tasks, reviewing invoices, and ensuring the accuracy of financial documentation in line with established procedures and quality standards. This position is ideal for candidates with a foundational understanding of accounting processes, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under supervision.
Key Responsibilities

Perform first-level reviews of accounting transactions and documents following standard operating procedures.

Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.

Process invoices, receipts, payments, and check requests within defined timelines.

Identify and escalate discrepancies or issues that require further investigation or approval.

Meet established productivity, accuracy, and quality metrics set by the project team lead.

Perform data entry, reconciliation, and general accounting support tasks.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and company standards.

Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Support additional first-level accounting tasks as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting services, or finance operations.

Basic understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.

Strong organizational, analytical, and data management skills.

Ability to follow standard operating procedures with precision.

Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team.

High attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on quality and compliance.

Comfortable working under close supervision and defined guidelines.
