Accounting Services Associate II

Position Overview

Conduent is seeking an experienced Accounting Services Associate II to join our finance operations team. The role focuses on executing day-to-day accounting tasks, reviewing invoices, and ensuring the accuracy of financial documentation in line with established procedures and quality standards. This position is ideal for candidates with a foundational understanding of accounting processes, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first-level reviews of accounting transactions and documents following standard operating procedures.

• Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.

• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and check requests within defined timelines.

• Identify and escalate discrepancies or issues that require further investigation or approval.

• Meet established productivity, accuracy, and quality metrics set by the project team lead.

• Perform data entry, reconciliation, and general accounting support tasks.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and company standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

• Support additional first-level accounting tasks as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting services, or finance operations.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and data management skills.

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures with precision.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team.

• High attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on quality and compliance.

• Comfortable working under close supervision and defined guidelines.
