Position Overview
The Accounting Services Associate I will be responsible for performing accounting and finance support activities in accordance with defined procedures and quality standards. This entry-level role involves organizing data, reviewing financial documents, and assisting with routine accounting processes under close supervision. The ideal candidate should possess strong attention to detail, a learning mindset, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance in all assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities

Perform first-level review of accounting documents and processes following standard operating procedures.

Review and verify invoices, receipts, and check requests for completeness and accuracy.

Understand and address invoice, payment, and receipt-related issues.

Escalate documents requiring additional review or action to senior team members or supervisors.

Ensure all assigned tasks meet productivity and quality targets set by the project lead.

Maintain proper documentation and adhere to compliance and reporting standards.

Support process improvement initiatives and maintain data accuracy in financial systems.

Perform additional accounting or administrative tasks as assigned.

Comply with all organizational policies, audit standards, and data confidentiality guidelines.
Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance operations (freshers may apply).

Technical Skills:

Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Familiarity with accounting concepts and ERP tools will be an added advantage.
