Accounting Associate

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate based in India to support our Australian accounting and bookkeeping projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Australian bookkeeping, accounting, or tax compliance. This is a full-time position based in our Kochi office, and the selected team member will work closely with our Australian team.

Key Responsibilities
Perform bookkeeping tasks using Australian accounting standards and tools (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online).
Assist with preparation of BAS, IAS, payroll, superannuation, and GST-related filings.
Prepare financial statements and management reports.

Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience in Australian accounting / bookkeeping / taxation.
Strong understanding of GST, BAS, payroll, and Australian compliance basics.
Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or similar cloud accounting platforms.
Good communication skills — written and verbal.
Strong Excel and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

Work Hours
7:00 AM to 4:00 PM IST (Monday to Friday, with a half day on Saturday)
Location – Kochi (Mon – Fri), Work From Home on Saturday

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience working with Australian CPAs, accounting firms, or outsourcing teams.
