Position Overview
The Accounting Services Associate IV plays a key role in performing complex accounting and analytical tasks following established procedures and standards. The role requires developed proficiency across multiple operational and analytical processes, with the ability to act as a subject matter expert in designated areas. This position also involves coordinating assignments, guiding junior team members, and driving continuous improvements in efficiency and accuracy across accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities

Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications.

Extract and analyze data for dashboards, reconciliations, and performance metrics.

Provide supporting documentation during internal and external audits.

Maintain updated process documentation and desktop procedures for accounting operations.

Contribute to quality initiatives and mentor the quality verification team.

Conduct first-level tasks and perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy.

Identify areas for process enhancement and recommend improvements in accounting methods.

Support business operations through effective data organization and reporting.

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.

Collaborate cross-functionally to support the achievement of business objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

Proficiency in data organization, reconciliation, and reporting.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/tools.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to coordinate team tasks and provide technical guidance to peers.

Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working autonomously within set procedures.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Vocational training, certifications (e.g., Tally, SAP, or other ERP), or equivalent professional experience.

2–4 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or shared services.
