Position Overview
The Accountant, Senior to Principal will play a vital role in managing and analyzing complex financial activities, ensuring the accuracy of accounting records, and maintaining compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support strategic financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Apply knowledge of business systems, processes, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance across accounting functions.

Prepare and post journal vouchers for complex accounting transactions.

Review and monitor financial transactions for timeliness and accuracy.

Perform analysis of complex accounting data and reports using spreadsheets and related applications.

Research and resolve accounting issues, ensuring adherence to internal controls and company policies.

Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial results, including variance analysis and commentary.

Participate in multi-functional projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Demonstrate proficiency in financial reporting, forecasting, and general accounting practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support decision-making and organizational objectives.
Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or related financial roles.

Strong understanding of US GAAP or country-specific accounting principles.

Excellent knowledge of internal controls, accounting policies, and financial analysis.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software/tools.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
