Accountant

Position Overview

The Accountant, Senior to Principal will play a vital role in managing and analyzing complex financial activities, ensuring the accuracy of accounting records, and maintaining compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support strategic financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of business systems, processes, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance across accounting functions.

• Prepare and post journal vouchers for complex accounting transactions.

• Review and monitor financial transactions for timeliness and accuracy.

• Perform analysis of complex accounting data and reports using spreadsheets and related applications.

• Research and resolve accounting issues, ensuring adherence to internal controls and company policies.

• Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial results, including variance analysis and commentary.

• Participate in multi-functional projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

• Demonstrate proficiency in financial reporting, forecasting, and general accounting practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support decision-making and organizational objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or related financial roles.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP or country-specific accounting principles.

• Excellent knowledge of internal controls, accounting policies, and financial analysis.

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software/tools.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently while supporting team goals and priorities.
