Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accounting reports and conduct complex financial analyses using spreadsheets and financial applications.
• Identify and resolve accounting issues while ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Prepare and post journal vouchers for various accounting transactions.
• Research and resolve basic accounting discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Gain knowledge of the company’s business systems, processes, and controls, including policies and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with US GAAP or country-specific accounting principles.
• Analyze financial data to provide insights for business performance improvements.
• Gain exposure to increasingly complex aspects of general accounting, financial applications, and reporting.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of US GAAP or country-specific accounting principles.
• Ability to prepare journal entries, financial reports, and reconciliations accurately.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and identifying discrepancies.
• Ability to research and resolve accounting issues efficiently.
• Knowledge of internal controls, financial regulations, and company policies.
• Strong skills in MS Excel, including data analysis and financial modeling.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for working with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Understanding of business systems, processes, and organizational structures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 9 months of experience in accounting-related roles.
• Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, and financial applications.
