Positional Overview:
The focus of the GAOC Associate Accountant or GAOC Accountant is to be able to support complete end to end payroll activities including payroll analysis and review (ensuring completeness and accuracy), payroll reporting, and year-end activities. This includes providing payroll reports for the Business Units, Stock and Patent Team, working with internal and external stakeholders on payroll issues. Work with BU finance team and HR for handling of all payroll issues, including those escalated from payroll processors and the work location is Hyderabad.
Responsibilities:
- Accountant – Payroll will process end-to-end payroll for various countries in South and North American region (US, Canda etc.)
- Work with HR for Payroll inputs validation, confirmation of EE timesheets, one-time payouts, over time, leave of absence notifications, Severance payments etc. and provide the same to payroll service providers within stipulated timelines.
- Validate the payroll reports shared by service providers and ensure payrolls are processed on time without any errors.
- Ensure Variance Analysis control is performed and research in variance report to determine next course of action.
- Handle payroll and tax year-end processing based on US specific requirements.
- Handle employee tickets on queries regarding Payrolls and timesheets.
- Work with multiple streams like HR, Legal, Finance and Benefits on various requirements.
- Maintain/update standard operating procedures on a Quarterly basis.
- Adhere to operational controls with the US payroll manager in Hyderabad.

- Strong analytical numerical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders.
- Strong and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Workday, and SAP.
- Ability to understand various deadlines and ensure that the deadlines are met with Quality.
- I would be required to work in the US time zone.
Qualifications:
- Experience of 3 to 6 years in AMERICAS Payroll processing.
- Experience in Payroll transition preferred.
