Position Overview
The Accounting Services Associate II plays a key role in supporting the organization’s accounting and financial operations through accurate data management, analysis, and reporting. This position involves executing accounting tasks based on established procedures and applying analytical and operational expertise to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Working under moderate supervision, the Accounting Services Associate II will manage various accounting processes such as financial reporting, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and expense management. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and examine statutory accounts, financial statements, and management reports.

Maintain general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.

Conduct data analysis and reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions.

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification and vendor inquiries.

Process employee expense reimbursements and ensure adherence to internal controls.

Prepare and review payroll expenditure reports, tax payments, and benefit disbursements.

Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reporting.

Perform capital budget analysis and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

Prepare consolidation journal entries and eliminate inter-company transactions.

Coordinate XBRL tagging and documentation for regulatory reporting.

Develop and maintain accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.

Ensure that all reports and disclosures meet company and government regulations.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:

Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

Experience in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and expense management.

Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Knowledge of XBRL reporting and regulatory standards is a plus.
