Accounting Services Associate IV

Position Overview

The Accounting Services Associate IV is responsible for executing and coordinating advanced accounting tasks with high accuracy and efficiency. The role involves working independently within established procedures, supporting quality and audit activities, and guiding junior team members. This position requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and hands-on experience in accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications.

• Extract, structure, and present data for dashboards on process and reconciliation metrics.

• Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing necessary records and documentation.

• Maintain updated and accurate SOPs, process documents, and desktop procedures.

• Contribute to quality initiatives and guide the quality verification team.

• Conduct first-level quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Act as a team lead by allocating work and providing subject matter guidance to junior associates.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support broader business goals.

• Recommend improvements to existing processes, methods, and workflows.

• Perform additional duties as assigned while complying with company standards and policies.

Skills & Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in accounting services, finance operations, or related functions.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, journal entries, and reconciliations.

• Proficiency in accounting systems, dashboards, and reporting tools.

• Developed skills across operational and analytical processes.

• Ability to work independently while coordinating and guiding others.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply procedural solutions.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for information exchange and teamwork.

• Vocational training, certifications, licensures, or equivalent experience preferred.
