Accounts Consultant

Position Overview:

We are looking for an Accounts Consultant to manage internal accounting operations and provide ERPNext accounting implementation support to our clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of financial processes, taxation, compliance, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily financial transactions, bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and ensure the accurate recording of all financial data.

• Ensure strict adherence to tax regulations, including GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements, while maintaining compliance across all financial activities.

• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and perform timely bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and transparency.

• Analyze client accounting workflows, configure ERPNext financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Taxation), and deliver tailored solutions to meet client needs.

• Train clients on ERPNext accounting features, ensure smooth adoption of the system, and provide ongoing post-implementation support and troubleshooting for optimal functionality.

Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in managing bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations, along with a solid understanding of financial reporting and audits.
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations to ensure compliance and accurate reporting in line with legal requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of ERPNext, including configuration, customization of financial modules, and the ability to adapt workflows to client requirements.
• Ability to analyze accounting workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement tailored solutions, including troubleshooting post-implementation issues.
• Strong communication skills to train clients on ERPNext features, ensure smooth adoption, and provide exceptional support throughout the process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, taxation, and financial management.
• Experience with ERPNext or other accounting software is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial compliance, GST, and corporate tax regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage internal accounts while supporting client implementations.
