Job Responsibilities:

Revenue Recognition & System Accounting

  • Manage revenue recognition and accounting entries within internal business systems and SAP.
  • Process cheque collections, receipt settlements, and maintain accurate SAP manual vouchers for receipts and write-offs.
  • Execute monthly revenue cutoff procedures and manage unbilled revenue accruals.

Reconciliation & Business Alignment (AR & Revenue)

  • Reconcile revenue accruals and operational business data to ensure accounting accuracy.
  • Perform regular reconciliations between customer SOA, internal system reports, and SAP ledger data.
  • Execute AR bank reconciliations for customer collections and align accounts with cash flows.

Customer Account Analysis & Master Data

  • Perform regular customer balance reconciliations and maintain detailed AR aging analysis.
  • Conduct SAP master data maintenance, including customer code cleanup and database integrity.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve discrepancies proactively.

Tax & Audit Support

  • Handle Output VAT calculations, adjustments, and reporting in compliance with UAE tax regulations.
  • Support annual internal and external audits by leading AR module preparations, compiling PBC (Provided by Client) lists, and tracking audit queries.

Process & Reporting Support

  • Assist in refining credit control workflows and data alignment between internal systems and SAP.
  • Provide accurate AR and revenue reports to management to support cash flow forecasting.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of dedicated finance/accounting experience.
  • Solid hands-on experience operating SAP systems.
  • Familiarity with IFRS standards (specifically revenue recognition standards) and UAE VAT regulations (Output VAT handling).
  • Proficient in MS Excel for complex reconciliations and data analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently under closing deadlines.
  • English as a working language.

Priority Considerations:

  • Fluency in Mandarin (Chinese) is highly preferred.
  • Experience in UAE corporate finance and local banking/cheque collection practices.
  • Background in equipment leasing, manufacturing, trading, or related industries.
