Accountant

Position Overview

Spandana Hospital is looking for a motivated Fresher Accountant to support the finance department in executing daily accounting functions. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are looking to gain hands-on exposure in financial reporting, analysis, compliance, and auditing within the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial statements and reports.

• Support the submission of tax documents and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

• Participate in internal and external audits to maintain financial integrity.

• Collaborate on budgeting and financial planning activities.

• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

• Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.

• Follow GAAP and internal policies to ensure proper financial practices.

• Use Excel for financial modeling, reporting, and data analysis.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proficiency in financial reporting and financial statement preparation.

• Basic understanding of tax preparation processes.

• Familiarity with auditing practices and financial controls.

• Ability to assist in budgeting and financial planning.

• Strong financial analysis and data interpretation skills.

• Knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, etc.).
