Assistant Finance Officer

Responsibilities

• Cashflow Management: Prepare projected and actual cash flow reports for Domestic Textiles to share with the CFO, and update JST details in HFM daily. Update RBI rates in SAP daily and custom rates as published.
• CC Limits & Balance Monitoring: Monitor CC account balances to prevent under- or over-utilization, and perform inter-funding regularly. Ensure adequate balances for import payments, statutory payments, and electricity bills to avoid delays and penalties. Post daily sweep-related entries to reconcile with the closing bank balance.
• Government Bills & Other Jobs: Prepare sales invoices for government orders according to standard formats. Manage inter-unit adjustment entries, ISD & cross-charge entries, and process travel bills for conferences related to the Fabric division. Conduct monthly export debtors aging analysis.
• Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS): Regularly run BRS in SAP, manually clear error items, and prepare BRS for all banks. Follow up on unreconciled entries and reconcile with the corporate office, adjusting various loans such as ECB, commercial paper, and working capital demand loans.
• Knowledge Upgradation: Continuously enhance knowledge of banking and forex by attending seminars and online classes.
• Monthly Stock Statement: Submit monthly stock statements to the insurance company.
• Export-Related Work: Adjust export-related collection entries and manage miscellaneous credit and debit advice regularly. Check all domestic collection vouchers posted by individual departments.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in cash flow reporting and financial management.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of banking, forex, and reconciliation processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in SAP and relevant financial software.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Education: Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field are preferred.
