Audit Associate

Positional Overview:

We’re seeking an Audit Associate with good exposure and work experience in accounting and assurance concepts. The incumbent gets an excellent opportunity to work virtually or directly with the engagement teams across the Americas and Europe and develop knowledge of international accounting and assurance principles.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for delivering the highest quality deliverables on assurance-related tasks that comply with EY Global methodology.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of an industry or sector and be aware of technical issues or assurance risks.
• Interact with the global engagement team regularly and develop a productive working relationship.
• Contribute ideas for improvement by comparing the efficiency of review procedures performed across different clients.
• Contributes to a positive team environment by demonstrating consistent commitment and optimism towards work challenges.
• Promote EY’s ethical and professional standards, including data confidentiality.
• Achieve participation in calls with EY Onshore teams.
• Develop knowledge of using EY technology and tools to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.

• Strong interpersonal and good written & oral communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and Outlook
• Robust logical and reasoning skills
• Team player, with the ability to multitask, flexible, and can work under pressure.
• Commitment to continuous learning and proactively implementing new processes.

Qualifications:

• B.Com Graduates with 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and assurance concepts.
• ACCA / CPA fresher
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Interest in business and commerciality.
