Finance Executive

Position Overview:

The Finance Executive plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing core financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and tax compliance. This position ensures accurate and timely financial reporting while adhering to company policies and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely verification, recording, and authorization of invoices in line with company policies.
• Establish clear and consistent communication with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders regarding invoice status, timelines, and any potential discrepancies.
• Implement and maintain a tracking system to monitor invoice processing, payment schedules, and resolve any delays proactively.
• Promptly address and resolve invoice-related disputes or discrepancies by collaborating with relevant departments and external partners.
• Continuously review invoicing procedures, recommend process improvements, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal guidelines.

Skills:

• Should have good communication skills.
• Ability to meticulously verify and process invoices with high accuracy to prevent errors and ensure timely payments.
• Proficiency in conveying clear timelines, ownership, and guidelines to stakeholders while proactively addressing any communication challenges.
• Strong skills in identifying, analyzing, and resolving invoice discrepancies or payment issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with invoicing software, tracking systems, and other financial tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification; a postgraduate degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial systems, with hands-on experience in accounts payable processes.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience, with a demonstrated ability to work independently, solve problems effectively, and maintain accuracy in financial tasks.
