Finance Manager

Position Overview:

A Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing an organization’s financial health by managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. They ensure compliance with regulations, analyze financial data, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. The role involves optimizing resource allocation, monitoring cash flow, and leading financial reporting processes to drive business growth and stability.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare financial statements, complete reports, and lead the month-end closing process, including monthly forecasts.
• Ensure adherence to GST, income tax, and Companies Act requirements, and collaborate with auditors for timely audits.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain financial stability and support operational needs.
• Oversee ERP system implementation and maintain internal controls to enhance reporting efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals to achieve organizational goals.

Skills:

• Proficient in managing general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Skilled in preparing financial statements, conducting month-end closings, and delivering accurate financial forecasts.
• Knowledgeable in GST, income tax, and regulatory compliance under the Companies Act.
• Experienced in monitoring cash flow and implementing effective cash management strategies.
• Proficient in implementing and utilizing ERP systems for streamlined financial and management reporting.
• Strong ability to lead finance teams, mentor professionals, and collaborate with stakeholders and auditors effectively.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of Experience in a finance Managerial role.
• The person should be CA Qualified.
