Responsibilities:
- Support the firm in its goal to drive and improve performance in line with strategic plans.
- Work with FBP Team leads in supporting Client facing Principals and Project Management Teams to ensure financial success of our client engagements.
- Support with regular reporting and analysis, as well as conducting proactive analysis on financial status and outlook.
- Explain key findings, highlight areas of concern and variances to senior finance and business stakeholders.
- Engage effectively with project teams and finance colleagues at all levels to identify and resolve any financial issues relating to a particular client or the region.
- Support with cost and pricing estimation and reviews during the selling process.
- Understand cost drivers to aid client leads in improving profitability for a practice area or the region overall.
- Support with creation and maintenance of detailed forecasts for revenue, cost, and profit, including pipeline tracking/business development support.
- Increase the awareness of good financial management practices across the firm.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Finance or closely related field, or Finance qualification such as CA,ACA,ACCA, CIMA etc required, advanced degree welcomed;
- At least 7+ years’ experience in financial analysis supporting internal business units or stakeholders (project-based industry preferred but not essential);
- Expertise using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and task management skills.
- Ability to think strategically and commercially and a willingness to dive down into the details.
- Ability to partner closely with senior leaders while retaining objective and professional finance perspective.
- High motivation, strong work ethic and personal initiative.
- Aptitude for, and enjoyment of, working in teams.
- Effective written and oral communication skills, ability to establish relationships with stakeholders.
- Close attention to detail, coupled with good judgment to know when to challenge practices or assumptions.
- High energy and motivation, with a commitment to quality client service.
- Ability to multi-task and remain agile in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
