Financial Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Recording and verifying invoices, as well as processing vouchers, accruals, and provisions
• Maintaining the chart of accounts and ensuring accurate financial records
• Preparing monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and reports
• Generating and issuing invoices for internal and external customers
• Developing and maintaining efficient record-keeping systems
• Preparing and filing VAT returns while ensuring regulatory compliance
• Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations
• Conducting internal audits and managing employee reimbursements
• Supporting financial projects, budgeting, and forecasting
• Assisting the Finance Manager with annual budgets and reports

Skills:

• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Excellent communicator with great presentation skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for numbers
• Highly organised with strong planning and time management skills

Requirements:

• Confident using QuickBooks, SAP, and ERP systems
• A foundational requirement is a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience — Ideal for candidates who have worked in junior accounting roles.
• Enjoys a structured and detail-oriented approach to work
• Takes initiative and brings innovative ideas to the table
• Comfortable working across various departments and teams
• Open to travel opportunities and global experiences
